LOVE AND DEATH
Love is an amazing feeling,
it is constantly changing, full of duality, able to revive or even destroy.
Happiness, madness and to
have butterflies in one's stomach, but also uncertainty and fear.
How generous you
are available to experience this sentiment?
There are those
who idealize <<an imaginary love is much better than a real love. Never
do this is very exciting. The most exciting attractions are between two opposites
that never meet>> (A. Warhol) and who generously get swept by this impulse, living
it to its fullest emotions.
Certainly there is a relationship
between this sentiment and our perceptions, so when we are happy, we are even
more sensitive to seize and enjoy colors, rhythms and flavors of the world
around us.
<<We are not really
aware of how odors affect our lives until we choose our partners, finding
smells the same indefinable complexity of love>> (A. Gualtieri): the
secret and crazy that tells the thrill lovers (Madly) has the scent of a floral
poudré; deep love and abysmal (Deeply) is an amber liqueur, fruity of cherry;
the eternal and infinite love (Truly) smells agreement “doll head”.
Universal theme like love
is death, another emotion that they both represent dismantle, piece by piece,
of any dramatic concept.
Gualtieri does so by
replacing the negative meaning with something beyond the physical realm of the
human essence and, as in the Persian poetry, representing the event in its
spiritual aspect and soil.
Any reference to the pain
hurts to Warhol and you can tell by his ability to remove drama from all his
work to undo the suffering of death: the chair replicated in series or even the
skull repeatedly and colored with bright colors that seems to laugh at what it
represents.
Death has become taboo to
work, a natural cycle of life, to be represented as a fetish rehabilitated in advertising
image.
To say it with two
perfumes, thoughtful and complex, almost timeless, Gualtieri describes two
concepts: the absolute bliss of the soul (Aramesh, that means peace of soul)
and his return to the sky and what happens to the body and its reunification
with the earth (Mogadess, that means sacred).
